Give blood
much easier than signing up to donate bone marrow.
And less painful I hear...

Oic. Here in Cali you can donate at 16 with parent approval.

Registering to donate bone marrow is NOT the same as DONATING bone marrow... in registering all they do is a cheek swab (or they just take from your blood samples from donating blood). It's quick and painless! and last I knew you dont have to be a certain age to register
also keep in mind that in registering you ARE NOT obligated to donate should you match someone in need... if you can't afford the time off, are busy, sick, etc. you dont have to be a donor
a better idea is to volunteer at a blood drive (see if music saves lives will cut you a deal here) since you are not old enough... but really giving blood/donating organs/bonemarrow is a really good thing and its really does not hurt all that bad! =)

It's so stupid how it has to be at their approved blood drives. I donate at least once a year at a local health and wellness center I work out at, but they won't accept that even though it's through the Red Cross.

I appreciate that, last i've been looking tho they only accept over 18 for the bone marrow sadly
