best movie soundtrack ever has to be high fidelity. come on, people...really. what other soundtrack has the beta band and the kinks? it's an indie rock fan's cornucopia.

speaking of soundtracks, the OC's first soundtrack is out now, i think. yes, yes, i'll have to say, the OC is a guilty pleasure...it's such bad acting and such horrible plots that it's one of the best shows on TV. and the characters listen to death cab, rooney, and stiff little fingers? apparently, the musical tastes of seth (the only non douche) come from adam brody himself (the actor) and the guy who produces it...can't remember his name. but anyways...the soundtrack isn't that bad. spoon's "the way we get by" is an absolutely awesome song, some jet thrown in and it's not that bad.

One Big Trip

When you put Jurassic 5, Royce Da 5'9", Hieroglyphics, Del, Swollen Members, and Dilated Peoples on a cd together, it's hard to beat.

In the book, instead of Evil Dead 2, they say Reservoir Dogs. Which indeed also has a fucking kickass soundtrack.
