Perhaps I should have been more specific. The term itself is not crazy, but the idea of people calling it that today when that is not even what the "experts" say will happen, is. Global Climate Change would be a more fitting title, but that wouldn't scare as many people.

I'm not debating issues with someone uneducated. It's proven to be a waste of time. Justin_stacy utilizes a differing opinion but he backs it up with facts. His claims can be proven. "Global warming" isn't crazy if you are educated. Global warming is a facet of global climate change like he learned rapidly from Wikipedia after he was rushed by the smarter individuals on this forums.

Al Gore did not invent global warming, the theory had been around for probably 20 years at least before his movie. (CFCs? I wasn't alive for that, but the whole ozone layer is very similar)

I wasn't even aware he did this. It's been pretty high profile for at least the last 6 years, everyone had heard the theory's name, at the very least, and a really poor summary of what it was about. Gore just showed some scientific informing slide shows and is now a figurehead.

Oh, and I didn't know the people involved in this story. In my town, there's a Popeyes, and then across the expressway there's a KFC. I was in the Popeyes with my mom waiting for her to come out of the bathroom, and these four black people came in and placed their order. The cashier told them that it would be a fifteen minute wait for chicken, and two of the people were like, "Okay, let's wait", but the other two started freaking out "I don't wanna wait fifteen damn minutes for chicken, there's a KFC down the street!" and they started arguing about if they should stay at Popeyes or go to KFC.

I'm not racist, I just think it's the funniest thing ever when people fulfill a stereotype.
