Weezer 08 tour?

They're on tour now. The shows are just very hush-hush.

I would go as long as they play mostly old stuff, but i haven't heard anything about the tour.

The new tour is pretty sweet actually. Fans bring their own instruments of all kinds and play along with Weezer. It's called the "Hootenany" tour.

Personally, I don't care what they play because the band is so stoked on their new album, they want to include all members on songs. The band will never be their 90's counterpart again so whatever.

I think most of the show is sponsored by radio stations, because I didn't hear about the Seattle show until three days prior and the tickets were only available through radio.

Pat had surgery, so they probably won't be doing a proper tour until this fall.

if that's going to give anyone reason to see them?
they will probably need big venues,
because last time a lot of their shows sold out.

i just found that once Weezer came out
with "Maladroit" and "Make Believe",
so many of their old fans left
and they gained new fans.
but the last shows that I heard about
were sold out.

and Rivers Coumo is amazing live.

I think in an interview they said the tour would be in the Fall. I hope they come to Cleveland so I can finally see them live.

Weezer is a shitty band with a two complete flukes, no different than Crytopsy (except in music of course).
