I everyday for work, so it's kind of daily routine to be clean, although when I full shave, mustache and all, I feel like a new man. A haircut takes longer to get used to, therefore not having that immediate gratification, thus a more awkward feeling.

i shave maybe once a month. sometimes once every two months. i get a haircut about every three or four. neither really make me feel like a new man. it when i shave and get my haircut on the same day that makes me feel new and refreshed.
