AP.net has added one of the world's greatest underground bands to their list of band profiles! I'm sure they feel honored to have the new addition of The Mile After (http://absolutepunk.net/themileafter) to their musician profiles. Be sure to add 'em!

They are SO underground.

I wish that all of the band profiles had some sample songs. There are so many new bands, but the majority of them don't even have music on their profiles.

How does a band get annointed "one of the world's greatest underground bands?"

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the lack of music either. Hopefully they're working on something as opposed to just having the occasional "ABSOLUTExclusives."

Any band that:
Continues to pursue their dreams for over four years in this generation
Has CD artwork with animated water on it
Has a pug in a promo
Has an excessively hairy merch guy
And is listed in Alternative Press as one of the "22 Best Underground Bands That Likely Won't Stay Underground for Long."
Sarcasm. Just let people have their opinions, man.

I agree, that really bugs me. Also, the fact that they used two extremely broad genres to describe their music, I wish they had something more specific.

Woo! It's pretty predictable (what the news is) but I guess we'll keep this a "secret" for the time being.

Yeah I just would like it if I could find and listen to new music all on the same site.

I actually like the genres that AP uses, but I know what you're saying.
Oh and um, nice avatar.

I just don't like how undescriptive they are. And thank you.

That's true, but I guess sample songs would solve that problem. And ifthe genres are too specific, someone's bound to disagree with it all.
You should jokerize it.

I've only been on this site for about a week and have already noticed that practically one out of every three people have some unnecessary comment containing information that isn't relevant for any purpose other than to cause debates and be as annoying as humanly possible. But I guess that's the way musicians in general are, huh?
To further elaborate (and prove that I am one of those irrelevant commenters) on the debating/annoying ordeal, I went to Guitar Center a couple weeks ago with a friend who was watching the cashier scan his items and while the receipt was printing the clerk asked for the typical information you normally have to give when purchasing anything (e.g. phone number [he gave him the wrong number, of course; who doesn't?], address, etc.) and eventually the cashier pulled out this weird looking object and told James to take his glasses off for a "retina scan." Apparently this was a "new policy" for Guitar Centers everywhere but James wouldn't take his glasses off. Instead, being the most up-for-debate person on Earth, he hesitated and asked why he needed to get a retina scan. The cashier obviously didn't have a quick response and asked him with a shocked expression if he'd never seen one of the "retina scanners" before. Being the argumentative musician Jason is, he spouted off, "Yes... in an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie."
