For a band to go down in history they need to, one be extremely talented (both musically and lyrically) neither of which Blink are, or second bring something new to the world of "music," and again Blink didn't do this.....So they may have introduced you to “punk” by being one of the first bands to go radio friendly, which is fine and I don’t criticize them for that at all, but it doesn't secure them a place in history….

I'm not too fond of this band. Normally I wouldn't have a problem ignoring them, but the thing that is so disturbing about this news is just KNOWING how nuts the general public is gonna go over this album. It's kind of scary. You think GC is too prolific on MTV now, just wait...
