Four Year Strong Video Shoot -Holy Cross

For anyone who is interested...I went to the video shoot for FYS-Bada Bing Wit a Pipe in Worcester Yesterday it was held at a function room at Holy Cross University which was setup like a cracy local show. Much like the ICC if you are familiar with Mass shows. We waited for a while and then were let in. The girl said go crazy and do anything you would normally do at a FYS show. This put a smile on everyones face because of course, this is FYS' hometown and we dont play around. The band had to fake play along to the songs and we just had to rockout. They had to do five takes...2 balcony, 2 from the stage and one from the floor. It was absolutely insaneeeeeee...each time there was easily 50 stage dives. After the shoot was done they suprised us and said they were gonna play us 2 real live songs. They ripped it up with Maniac into Heroes and the place went bizzerk....Thank you FYS for representing Mass so well. We love you so much.

What a better way to spend a Sunday night than jammin with FYS and 150 people wen they usually draw over a 1000 in this area now

This sounds like it was planned much better than when they did this for the other video shoot at the Palladium. Sounded like it was a lot of fun.

I hope this turns out better than the video for Heroes. I wanted to go to the Bada Bing shoot, but I thought there was going to be way over 200 kids and I wouldn't get in. Bummed I didn't go, that sounded fun.

Also, this might be a dumb question, but do you know if Decaydance had anything to do with the shoot? I wonder if they'd push this shit to TRL or something.

ummm no nothing with decaydance... Glamour Kills were the people who seemed to be running the show there. And Dan said something about a release sometime in August thru something with MTV/MTV2 and/or Fuse.

I was there too. Kids went nuts. The live performance shots will be interwoven with other shots of members of the band parodying famous videos. My friend was a production assistant, and she toook some pictures. She wasn't at liberty to show a lot, but I did see one of Dan sitting at a piano with some sort of Elton John getup on.

Get psyched, this video should be awesome.
