Here are some of the song titles on Steel Train (http://www.steeltrainmusic.com)'s upcoming album, Twilight Tales From The Prairies On The Sun:
'Steel Train', 'Perceptual Groove', 'Sadly By Her Side', 'Blue', 'Dig', 'Grace', 'Catch You On The Other Side' and 'Wake Your Eyes'. 'Steel Train' and 'Catch You On The Other Side' features David Grisman (has played with the Grateful Dead, The New York City Ramblers, Emmylou Harris) on mandolin, 'Dig' and 'Blue' features Gene Parsons (from 60's supergroups The Birds and the Flying Burrito Brothers) on pedal steel and 'Grace' and 'Perceptual Groove' feautres Gene Cornelius on cello. The album was produced by Stephen Barncard. It should be out sometime this Spring or early Summer.

Usually you would see Jordan Pundik or Kenny Vasoli helping out a fellow DTR band, but Gene Parsons? That's fucking awesome.

Yeah, i heard they were trying to book them on some different tours not including the bands you'd think they'd be associated with (DTR)...

This band is so bad...it's like the unholy trinity on Drive-Thru - Early November, Senses Fail, and these guys.

Steel Train are definately not rubbish, neither are the Early November. In fact they are two of the best bands on DTR. I used to kind of shrug off DTR bar RX Bandits, but with Steel Train and Hello, Goodbye, things are getting better all the time. Steel Train's full length will be the mother of all things good.

Hello Goodbye are nothing but Reggie rip-offs. There's one song that sound EXACTLY like Reggie. It's unbelievable how everything on this site is classified as "amazing", to the point where I wouldn't doubt that Allister or Fall Out Boy are called amazing.

a) fall out boy is sensational.
b) hello goodbye, i do believe have been around for almost as long as reggie .. but i find it funny how we can have 100 screamo bands but only 1 synth sounding band.
c) show me where the word amazing was used in this post.
d) you're mad if we talk about a band that sounds like 10 other bands, you're mad if we talk about a band that sounds like 1 other bands, and you're mad if we talk about a band that doesn't sound like any other bands.. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US!?

It's called an opinion Jason. Apparently we're not allowed to have one on this site; we're expected to be followers of everything you say - that Fall Out Boy will "save music" or that the new Senses Fail record is awful (in fact, it changed the way the blood flows through my body). My original statement was not to say that Steel Train sucked because they sound like whoever or don't sound like whoever, my comment was that Steel Train is not good. That's my opinion, take it or leave it. But don't come in here stating your opinion as fact. Don't act all high and mighty, for God's sake. You run a website. Get off your soapbox.

Im f@%king pissed no "story in a dream" or "1999" the singer told me it was gonna be on teh full length at a show last year and even though there above putting songs on that are more mainstream just to sell records im still pissed i think they are turning into a exact replica of all the bands from the 60's/70's

I love this band. That's gonna be an awesome album if the "For You My Dear" EP is any indication.
I'm never going to use an icon or put quotes in my profile or anything like that. I'm sick of people using the bands they quote or put as an icon in their defenses just because someone tried to state an opinion. The opinion may be ignorant, unintelligent, or just not what you wanted to hear but oh freaking well. I just thought I would throw that idea out there. One more thing, how can you call a genre of music dead when we are here for punk rock related news or ideas. Punk was written off years ago. Was it really dead? No, it just evolved. Ok my chest is clear. Its a shame this news post won't be seen tomorrow.

Fall Out Boy is unoriginal, but Senses Fail changed the blood flow of your veins. This being my website, I'll say whatever the fuck I want. And thankfully, I know for a fact more people will agree with me than you on this one - cause that SF album is awful, absolutely horendous. It's the biggest fraud of all time .. everyone is downloading the album, and hating it .. it's spelled: flop.

I am almost positive that their wasn't any metaphors in your statement. However their was a simile.
