i know thats what i tell him, but sometimes he says that he doesn't care but yesterday he told me to change my wardrobe...its not like i'm all "skanked up" i just wear stuff like t-shirts, jeans and a pair of shoes...but i notice he started saying stuff like that after prom..when he saw me all dressed up and stuff...i don't know but for sure i probably won't listen to him anyways i just wanted to know if anybody knows whats its like for their b/f or g/f to tell them stuff like that... but thanks for replying :)

How old are you? And your getting married? It shouldnt matter if you have different tastes in certain things...No two people are the same, everyone is different. And did I hear you list "food" as one of the things you dont have in common? Haha I can see it now...you are both out on a romantic dinner...

Guy: "Uhh...I will have the chicken, and so will my lovely fiance."

You: "Actually honey...I think I'm gonna go with the fish tonight."

Guy: "Wait...you like seafood?"

You: "Yes...isnt it yummy?"

Guy: "Look, I dont know how to say this....but...I dont think we should see each other anymore...I cant be with someone who likes seafood...goodbye..."

not to sound like an asshole or anything in anyway at all, and hope u don't get offended. but i think it's pretty retarted. if u are getting married you obviously should love someone for who they are, nothing more or nothing less. if he wants you to be something other then that, i think it's wrong.
