.rar files are like .zip files, it just compresses all of the files (like .mp3's) into one file. You need a program to extract the music files. If you're on a PC then use Winrar, if you're on a Mac use StuffIt.

i got a utility from downloads.com for free called RAR Extract Frog, it's small and simple and it has a cool graphic of a frog.

well the most typical thing to do would go to winrar's website and download the program or look for another program called 7zip or winace.
