Hallucinogenics are not addictive. The only harm they can do is flood too much serotonin in someone's brain. That happens when someone has a personality/mental disorder where their brain naturally makes too much serotonin or if they're on medication that produces serotonin. Maybe if they'd teach facts like that to people, we wouldn't have as many idiots taking the stuff in excess, turning them into complete idiots/burn outs.

I've always wanted to tell you how awesome your avatar is. I would love to own that entire series on DVD. I would watch it for weeks to months. That show makes me feel like a kid again. Back when TGIF was the shit.

lol, i took shrooms for the first time a year and a half ago. or maybe it was 2 and a half...anyway...i was real nervous but i ate a decent amount at my friends house in buffalo and we watched war of the worlds. the sounds were all flanging and i was seeing patterns on the wall. it was the strangest thing i have experienced. then i proceeded to walk around downtown buffalo and piss on the gate of Ani Difranco's house. lol

I've smoked salvia a few times. It's fun, but I'm over it. Salvia makes you trip balls, but it's not really a happy experience, which I think is the common misconception. Orrr at least that's what my friends and I decided :shrug:

I found you're not supposed to listen to music when tripping on salvia. I found that out after I did that exact thing. I was listening to Finch and Nate started singing about killing me. You know how he does that weird/creepy/evil voice on Say Hello To Sunshin? Yeah, it scared the shit out of me.

All the times I've taken it, I had a scary or weird experience. It hasn't ruined it for me though. I just haven't done it in a proper environment. I would love to get my hands on some pure DMT!

shrooms are intense enough for me so i don't think i'll ever do acid, peyote, mescaline or any other type of hallucinogen.

It's also interesting that Johns Hopkins is performing these studies. About 10 years ago or so they had contacted me about participating in a study on MDMA (ecstasy) to which I briefly considered but then declined after realizing what participating would consist of (rolling in a lab and then submitting to a spinal tap, um no thanks).

Shrooms are a happy fun good time kind of hallucinogen haha. I was laughing so hard the first time I took them. I would just see and hear things and laugh in pure excitement. So intense.

My philosophy of meditation teacher said that through meditation, you get the same effect as a hallucinogenic drug. These drugs were made to pass the receptors in our brain that meditation activate, so basically, you're all cheating.

I don't remember if I stated this already but I swear I did. Hallucinogenic drugs are a cheap form of enlightenment. Reaching enlightenment through meditation is way more fulfilling. At least that is what I'm told.

On the other hand, different hallucinogens give different types of trips. But I've been consistently and seriously meditating everyday for the past week. One day I will reach enlightenment.
