I love this band and have for a very long time. Please don't reply to this thread with insult, they are my guilty pleasure. They are very nostalgic to me. They are just great Pop-Punk. I know a lot of you out there like them. Discuss with me.

Was there really no official thread? wow, well I really liked Almost Here, but could never really get into Santi, no matter how hard I tried, stoked for the new album.

Like everyone else I really enjoyed Almost Here but didn't really get into Santi.

I liked Santi. I had a lot of reviewer tilt though from Almost Here. I fucking love Beckett's voice. The songs are just extremely catchy to me.

I liked a few songs from the first album, no significance beyond that.

lol Decaydance band lol.
Actually, they're not on Decaydance. That is a side label of FBR, which if you want to poke fun at, was founded/is owned/ran by a member of your beloved Less Than Jake. They are only on FBR, not decaydance.

I absolutely adore this band.
Almost Here defined my summer last year,
but Santi is just as amazing.
If anything, they matured,
though I know that the reviews hated Santi,
which really is a shame,
because they shouldn't base their judgment on their first album anyway.

I keep missing them whenever they come through New Mexico. :-(

I didnt base my judgement on their first album. I judged it by the shittyness pumping through the speakers.

I agree with this. People put up such a fight that In Defense of the Genre was Say Anything's songwriting becoming more mature, and Santi was the same for TAI.

Also, I am very excited for the new album. Saw this band live today, and the two new songs they played sounded great.

My bad, I thought they were still signed there, now they are signed to the awesome label, so I must apolgize to my lords Less Than Jake, and hide the hole I live in. *Hides*

I heard The Academy is... kicked the drummer out of the band because he was fat and ugly.

Uhh they've had the same drummer since before their debut... if you mean in their pre-Almost Here years, then you might be right. That wouldn't matter to me.

I actually kind of liked Santi but was not a fan of Almost Here.

I saw them in concert in like... November. They were alright. Beckett really can't dance but who needs to!?!

I see what your saying and I can recognize that Santi is musically and lyrically a much better album, however, I just couldn't get into it, which sucked. I by no means hate or dislike this album though.

This band has had a thousand threads here. Look 'em up and talk about bad music there.
