That sounds great, but, it's lacking some of my favorite Hitchcock movies.

Well there can never really be a single Hitchcock box with all the great ones. They're all owned by different studios, so the best you can ever possibly do is have this box and the Universal box, The Masterpiece Collection, which isn't exactly a bad deal, 22 films in 2 boxes in total.
Also, the second one that TJ posted is great, so make that 3 boxes and you're pretty much set, although I would recommend that everyone own The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, and Blackmail as well.

Yeah, I had the Masterpiece collection, in a HUGE fit of stupidty sold it a couple years ago. Not much bonus materials, though.

I'm so excited for this, although at the same time kind of disappointed that it doesn't come out until the middle of October. I really could use a replacement for my VHS of Sabotage and my TiVo recordings of Rebecca and Spellbound.

Ouch. Those bonus materials weren't that bad, if I'm remembering correctly each disc had its own bonus features related to the individual films, although I could be mistaken. With respect to the bonus features disc though, I never understood why they cut the 2 hour AFI broadcast down to 15 minutes.

Yeah. That collection helped me discover Frenzy, in my opinion his most underrated film (inasmuch as I never hear people talk about it, I know critics liked it).

Frenzy is great, especially when you go through the box in order and view it just after Topaz (trash) and before Family Plot (hokey trash).

Word on the street is that Rebecca, Spellbound, and Notorious will be available separately as well, for $20 a piece.
