For anyone who doesn't know, Alkaline Trio has a new split out next week (April 20th) with One Man Army. This is Volume 5 in the BYO Records Split Series. The CD features 6 brand new songs from both bands. I personally think a few of the Alk3 songs are better than a lot of the songs on their latest album. You can order the split for $8 from Interpunk (www.interpunk.com) and you get some exclusive shit with the CD.

The songs on here are awesome, especially "Sadie," which is a song totally unlike any other Alk3 song.

I love "Sadie," especially the breakdown with the girl talking. "Fine Without You" is awesome too, but the beginning sounds just like one of the songs on Good Mourning, but I think FWY is a better song... so who cares?

yeah, that song just has a real Good Mourning vibe to it

I have all the songs, and I did not like much of the Alkaline Trio songs, only "Dead and Broken". NOT saying they suck. I love the Alkaline Trio.

yea the split does kick ass... and oma does a great job too! i'm seeing alkaline may 20th too.
