I know a lot of people have already done the same thing I'm about to do(posting self promo in the music forum), but shit, I'm desperate.

As harsh as all you little bastards are, I'd love to hear all of your opinions of my bands new stuff.

We've worked really hard on these recordings, and as any band would be, we're anxious for people to hear it.

SO, with all that being said, here is a link. Give both songs a fair listen and don't be afraid to hate us. I'm sure some of you will.

Thanks for checkin it out guys. I appreciate it. I know how diverse peoples musical tastes are on this website, but I also know how knowledgeable a lot of you are as well, which is why I'd value most of your opinions. If you're writing us off on the 1st song though, please try and listen to the 2nd one(cellars). It's not a screamy one.

Listened to it. I now support the other statements mentioning, not really the style for this site but will do well on myspace.

I was pretty impressed with some of the vocals though.

I accually thought the singing was one of the better parts, Music was pretty generic I thought.

Also, I don't like the "So Fucking Bow Down" Part on Veil of Wasps, that is such an overused line in Metal/Hardcore bands now adays.

Well, I wanted to give somewhat of a reference as to what we may sound like to people. Obviously someone who listens to Cobra Starship or something probably won't like us. Sorry if you thought I was way off by listing those bands though.

Also, I don't like the "So Fucking Bow Down" Part on Veil of Wasps, that is such an overused line in Metal/Hardcore bands now adays.

Not that it really makes it much better, but he says "so fucking back down". He's just being a badass. You know it's gnarly ;-)

No it doesn't help, and why are you playing in Oak Harbor, you could get a better draw if you played at a teen center on the east side or in Seattle itself.

We didn't book the tour ourselves. That would probably be a good idea though. Have you been to Oak Harbor? This is our first out of state tour, so it's all new to us.

I can't listen anyway, I'm at work. But I half jokingly meant that I don't like those bands, so I wouldn't like your music as a result.

I haven't been to Oak Harbor in a while, I usually don't leave the Seattle area for shows.

But yeah, If you guys ever look to play the Seattle area, some good smaller venues are the Kirkland Teen Center, Bellevues Ground Zero, and the Redmond Firehouse, they usually draw alot of the younger kids and alot of little scene kids. But they book smaller bands and you can get a nice check from them.

who uses it besides Born of Osiris? (just curious)

I accually thought the singing was one of the better parts, Music was pretty generic I thought.

the chorus on the first song (only song I listened to) was where the singing fit but the singing and non-screamed vox on the verses bugged me.

I have heard a couple bands use it live, I think Emmure used it, and the rest I forget.

Thanks guys. Glad most of you seem to at least like my singer, cause he's improved a lot from our previous recordings. Also, I totally understand what it's like to write off a band based on like the first 30 seconds of 1 song, but PLEASE check out the 2nd song "cellars". Thanks again!
