Last night was memorable at The Offspring (http://www.offspring.com/) show. After the fourth song, all of the lights and sound went out, and people started to leave in anger. With only security and emergency power to light, they rocked out the rest of their set. On a personal note, this band made me love music the way I do today and I could not have asked for a better first experience. Props to the band for making the best of a bad situation.

Agreed. This band got me into the music I love today, and I can still say that The Offspring is my favorite band of all time.

I didn't think there was 1st graders reading the posts. The lights were out but the power was fixed enough to play obviously. ha

yeah i love The Offspring...probably one of my if not my favorite band of all time. Smash has to got to be in my top 5 favorite albums of all time. I went to a concert back about 2 years ago and they rocked. I would love to see them again some time.

It isn't totally out of the question that they would have finished their set acoustically, is it?

I nearly gave up on that band after I heard the first single off of Splinter I think its titled "Hit That" it was fucking horrible but their new single "I Can't Get My Head Around You" is like old Offspring shit so thats definately a good sign that they're not complete commercial garbage as I had previously thought!
