all right, everyone here has to check this out. see, at usc, we are forced to buy meal plans...we have 2 options, one that gives us too few "dining dollars" and one that gives us way too many. dining dollars are spendable only at usc, on food items, and so generally everyone gets the way-too-many plan and then has hundreds and hundreds of extra dining dollars at the end of the semester which, after the end of the semester, just disappear. my friend, john, however, has come up with a brilliant idea. he bought every pepsi on campus (we're sponsored by pepsi unfortunately) and got shitloads of free iTunes songs with that promotion.
he made a website about it and he put it up yesterday morning. since then, it has had over 13000 hits, has been linked to by www.ipodlounge.com and plenty of other mac and itunes-oriented fansites, and has been viewed in over 30 countries. we're sending it to everyone we know so it'll be like the next big internet thing like hamster dance...i mean, EVERYONE has seen hamster dance, and it's just a random site.
