i hope this stays un biased, but basically my 360 broke i awhile ago and i didn't have time to play it anyway and now i have some time but have heard rumors of a price drop soon, so i want to wait on that.

however i haven't played playstation 3 but love metal gear games...am i missing out on other games...is ps3 worth it. i'll still get xbox when the price drop happens, but i need a push in either directions....

I have a 360, and my brother has a PS3. Regardless of what anyone else might say, they're both good systems, and they both have their fair share of fun games. However, I feel inclined to mention that my brother sold MGS4 and a majority of his PS3 games less than a month after buying them.

xbox 360 has a wider variety of games and the online play is so much better than playstation. MY friend has ps3. he buys the games, plays alone and then sells them back. i have xbox 360 and cant stop with live.

yeah i've had 360 before and live is amazing i was just thinking about getting ps3 while i wait for the price drop or possibly getting the elite.

Look at the games, you want MGS4, and then what? You're stuck with a $400 system and a game. XBOX360 is the way to go.

i know...but i really want metal gear...it usually does come to xbox later...i wonder if there has been any release date for that...

What systems do your friends have? Owning a 360 and having all your friends buy Wiis and PS3s fucking sucks, regardless of the games. Other than that look up exclusive games for each system and see which one has more you like. There's really nothing more to it.

Yeah, I'd say I agree with this statement. I wasn't into the gaming selection of Xbox until Halo 3 came out, and then from there, so many other good games followed.
