Matchbook Romance is alright...nothing great or special, but I don't regret buying their cd, it was an ok pickup...

I knew the song title when I wrote my first post, it just came out wrong. Even if I got the song's name wrong, it doesn't make it sound any better...I personally know more than a few people that can sing better than this guy, its pathetic. And the lyrics? "I didn't know why, but didnt ask questions because it was the first time in my life where I did something right".....are you kidding? I thought we've evolved past the middle school thought process.

Why does this band have a recording contract?

The EP was okay, pretty catchy. Then they released a full-length and it had like... three decent tracks

The music is tolerable, but the singer, eh. His voice is completely unremarkable.

MBR is such a great band. I can't believe there's a trash talk forum about them. I think their cd is awesome, and i love the lyrics. Also, i've seen them live and they own.

they are ok. i liked ep a loooot more. new cd is not all too wonderful. the ep was awesome. but full length only has 3 songs i listen to.
