Rumor has it that Jeff is back in The Early November (http://www.theearlynovember.net). People are saying that the band announced it at the S&S. More info to come soon.
No, I just talked to them, Jeff is the new drummer for finch and Alex from Finch is with Early November.

I doubt that, since Alex is playing drums for JamisonParker.

acually there is a band called The Lifestyle that was our former upcoming band on www.upbeetmusic.com - they sound very similar to The Early November. pretty good ish.

no pappas isnt playing drums from for jamisonand parkere he was just helping out.
yeah Alex and Dan Pappas aren't in Jamison/Parker, Alex is going to work on some stuff at his home for now...

some songs are in the same vein but they are mostly harder than anything TEN has done recently

If that's the case i don't get it. Jeff didn't want to be on tour or in a band - or that's what I hear the reason for leaving is. So why would he just get right into a new band?

jeff is not in finch to my knowledge... i think that guy was making a joke...
..and if i could make an educated guess as to why Jeff rejoined TEN is because he realized how much he really loved it.. sometimes it takes loosing something to see what you really had... something like touring in a band and never seeing your family can get very stressful...

Don't get me wrong, i love The Early November but it would be kind of dumb if Jeff just all of a sudden decided that he wasnt going to quit, his statement seemed kinda intense and like he really wasnt feeling the band anymore...if he's not in it 100% whats the point?...maybe it was all just a dumb publicity stunt..or a stupid rumor made up by people that get bored too easily.

Ok guys, I was actually at S &S and have what actually happened.
I talked to pappas and like everyone said he was just helping out with JP, he isnt in thier band, he is working on his own stuff.
Jeff was in attendance at S&S, he said hello to everyone but Ace did announce that he is officially out of the band and that thier tour manager is filling in for now.
Whoever believed that drive thru musical chairs thing is really gullible.

Okay...so here's the deal.
Apr 18 2004
There has been a lot going on with The Early November this past week. I'll try to explain. Jeff felt he needed some time off and was also questioning his future with the band. We respected this and decided to let him take the tour off and have Matt (our tour manager / sound engineer) fill-in. After the first night of tour with Less Than Jake, Jeff called and said he would not be returning to the band. We were devestated. We didnt want to continue on the tour (even though Matt was/is doing great), we didnt even know if we could continue as a band. Jeff completes The Early November...something is missing without him. After a few shows we started to feel better, although still upset about Jeff leaving, we decided we would just grin and bear it and start the inevitable process of looking for a new drummer. A few more days go by, and we get another call by Jeff. He says he made a mistake by leaving the band and asks to comeback. We said yes. He will start touring again with us this summer on the Warped Tour. To make a long story short: Jeff left the band. Jeff rejoined the band.
As for the dt musical chairs, you might possibly see one in coming month(s), it just depends on how things go.

they do sound similar. i like the name "you're what the spaniards call el terrible" any band with a family guy reference is tops in my book.
