both of these bands is how i started to listening to decent music, i tried buying a three days grace c.d. but accidently bought taking back sunday and i got the victor sampler out of it, then i started listening to silverstein and hawthorne heights from that.

I got into Hawthorne Heights for a little bit, and I credit them to introducing me to a scene that warrants some overall very good music, even if I have grown out of them. But for the most part, they're cool guys just doing what they do best. Plus, I've never really listened to Silverstein in excess, so not much of a comparison.

Interesting. I didn't know much about Silverstein until I started listening to Hawthorne Heights. In my opinion I think both bands are wonderful but I love Hawthorne Heights a lot more. I compared them because they are both on Victory and they both have the same music type.

haha funny you should say that in this thread because at one time silverstein, HH & SF were my three absolute favorites.

i still give those three huge credit for practically introducing me to this scene of music and im still a loyal listener / fan of sed bands to this day.

i'll have to go with Hawthorne Heights. I went through high school on their music, plus they were one of my first rock concerts where a parent wasn't with me. yes!
