What the hell is wrong with my computer?!

Okay, please tell me one of you folks on here can help me? Recently I started getting this constant error message that comes up usually when a pop-up appears. The pop up says there is a runtime error and immediately closes all Internet Explorer windows. Can someone please tell me how to fix it? This is the message:

Runtime error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

this is probably the deal: some sort of spyware or internet site corrupted one of the files that IE needs to run properly. go to microsoft.com and download ie and reinstall.

get rid of explorer, 90% of trojans and spyware and whatnot get through it

I have the EXACT same problem with my computer, i hate it, everytime im on a site, and i get a pop up, it closes every site, its really really really annoying... so someone please help us.
