Sparta have reportedly been performing some of their new material while on the road. Some of the new songs are titled Guns of Memorial Park, Breaking The Broken, La Cerca, and Lines In Sand. If you have heard these live, leave a reply with your feedback.

They played La Cerca and I think guns of Memorial Park at S&S. I didn't know much about Sparta but my friends wanted to see them so we hung out there after Straylight Run went on.
Anyway, I don't really know Sparta's old stuff but I thought the new stuff was awesome, some really crazy riffs and a very cool sound in both of them. My friends who listen to Sparta said they thought the new stuff was awesome too.

I saw them last night in Cleveland. They blew me away, and the new songs sound very solid. Some progression, but nothing too different. I really liked "La Cerca" and "Guns of Memorial Park." The new CD should be awesome. I wrote a more substantial review that you can read here (http://www.xanga.com/thelastwordisrejoice).

heard all those songs in austin during SXSW, i was dissapointed. the songs dont have any uniqueness to them, and most of them are just about growing up in el paso. maybe im hoping for to much but i was not impressed...

im also a big lyrics man and its hard to decipher lyrics on new songs at live shows

Im from El Paso, I live close to Memorial Park, the new songs are fascinating, and East Texas can suck ass.
