Yes I know we have done this before but I searched for a while and couldn't find the right thread and I am lazy.;-)
Mine are definatley the All-American Rejects, 30 Seconds To Mars, and Chevelle. That may be an odd mix but I really did enjoy both AAR albums and thought both of them were solid, I thought the Kill and From Yesterday were killer songs and enjoyed a Beautiful Lie from 30STM. Also I think it is pretty undeniable that Chevelle had a good first album and that some of their songs are catchy but for some reason I get guilty when I admit I like this band.

I've said it before, but there's only so much "meaningful and/or innovative" music I can take before I want the exceedingly stupid and melodramatic lyrics and contrived/simplistic hooks of Pop Punk. I'll always love Pop Punk, specifically (and I know this is mostly predicated on nostalgia) the stuff I grew up with. It (obviously) doesn't speak to me in the way it did when I was 15, enjoying my artificially enhanced and hormonally-induced teen angst, but I still enjoy Pop Punk. It's my junk food. I consume it in small doses when I want something light and 'tasty' and different from the 'meat and potatoes' that I need for sustenance.

Whoa, that was a veiled metaphor for playing checkers, you sick freak! What the fuck is wrong with your head? Is that what My Chem is teaching the kids nowadays? That's not what Hall & Oates taught me.

I have none, because I love all of the music I listen to so if it is from Europe (yes those guys who did The Final Countdown), to Autograph (remember Turn Up The Radio) or even Berlin. I love it all and couldn't care less what anyone thinks.

Whaaaaa?
Oooops I mistyped a bit. I meant from an Alt-Metal/Post-Grunge point of view it was a great album but it isn't hard to dominate in their "scene"(not that they have one).
Unfortunately, my guilty pleasure band is wecamewithbrokenteeth.
It disgusts me that I like them so much, even though I'm fully aware that they are one of the worst bands ever.

Well some like them and some don't, I have to say The Final Countdown isn't my favorite song by them and that I haven't heard them that much on any of the rock stations I listen to.

Ha!
I'd have to say shake it by metro station, urgh. Especially when I know I shouldn't be enjoying it and even more so because of what was said in the sell out thread. Douchebags.
