It's kind of ridiculous that my college (UW- La Crosse, WI) is having Ben Folds play in the rec center here -- there's no stage and the acoustics are horrible. Not to mention they're charging students 30-35 dollars for a ticket.

Being a student at the University of Iowa, I can tell you that the show is not in the Main Lounge, but in Hubbard Park. Also, it's students only and free as all hell.

hah, well at least you didnt get all hyped up for the one concert of the year and it was simple plan opening for sugar ray. That happened at UWO two years ago. I guess they made up for it by having dave chappelle the next year and lucky boys this year, even though i dont go there anymore.

oh! I went to the UWO Dave Chapelle show....my best friend went there last year...yeah that was pretty cool I will admit...
