When 20 Summers Pass is brilliant pop punk. Too bad no one here respects them/knows them.

I know!
Kids should respect everything of Cappo's.
Man founded Revelation and Equal Vision.
Ray just needs to tour more.
But, he is a full time yoga instructor and has a wife and three kids, so I can understand.

I was gonna say that's the only one I have heard but based on that they are pretty good.

Well its about time someone made a shelter thread. Regardless it won't last long. I've always toyed with making a shelter/ray cappo apreesh thread.

Ray Cappo is a Hare Krishna devotee and they believe that sex should only apply for pro-creation.

I really like Shelter. Mantra probably just edges out When 20 Summers Pass as their best effort for me. They're good live as well, although when I saw them a mate had seen them a couple of days earlier and said they played a couple of Youth Of Today tracks. No YOT for us though.:-(

This thread will quickly die, and it's a damn shame.

Mantra is a great record, but it goes like this for me with shelter

Beyond Planet Earth>Mantra>20 summers pass

Very underappreciated band

Ray is on a Story of the Year album - is that true?

Ray is on a Story of the Year album - is that true?No sadly. I'd have loved that too. Not as much as YOT but all three are fine bands.

Mantra is good but Perfection of Desire I think is a little less poppy, I still listen to both on ocassion. And I'll agree it's nice to see a Shelter thread around here.
