who thinks that the chicago cubs have a legimiate shot at winning the world series this year? I know its still early in the season but they look really good this year so far. I have been a cubs fan for 19 years now and i have been waititng for this day for a long time now.

I think the cubs have shot until the Giants turn their season around... im so pumped im going to 2 of 3 games (hopefully... 1 of 3 i know i will) when the giants are in town. GO GIANTS

the cubs have a great pitching staff even if priors out for the season, and their offense does the trick so they've got a good shot at taking it all.

They don't have a shot at winning anything until they win in October. They just find new ways to fuck themselves over. Kind of like the braves. The sox, braves, and cubs have the worst shot at winning this year. No matter how good their team is.

The logic is that the braves have only won one championship in their 12 straight division titles. The cubs have won in over 100 years and the sox havent either. That is more than enough logic.

maybe if the cubs quit whining about all that curse crap and actually toughened up they'd actually win something. but no, they're too busy blaming goats and foul balls. that's a bunch of crap. maybe just accept the fact that you lost and quit making excuses. and now the cubs think they're america's team just because they made the NLCS. big fucking deal. oh and guess what, you lost. go ahead, blame it all you want on other things cubs fans, accept the fact that you just suck.
