Any fans here? Who likes shogazer rock?

This guy was a staple of Christian rock in the 90's, didnt know he was still around.

I am gonna give this a bump. Dial M is a really solid record.

This official thread is a joke. Oh well. Bump.

I've been jamming to Silver a bit lately on MySpace music. It was released on vinyl last year, and I got a record player for Christmas, so I hope to order that sometime this week.

I like what I've heard a lot. I wish both he and his brother got more support from Tooth and Nail.

Well, they're both pretty well established at this point, being two of the best and most respected veterans of the label. I wouldn't mind more people listening to them, but at this point in the game, I'm not sure how much of a difference that'd make.

I finally picked up Dial M. It is such a good album.

I've only heard Leave Like a Stranger, and it's very good.

Nice to see this thread bumped, considering how lifeless it is. (I thought I remembered there being more fans in the Joy Electric and Christian music threads. Oh well.) I really need to listen to more of their music. They're such a prolific band, and I don't own any of their albums yet.

I Am The Portuguese Bear and Americana are the two albums I currently have. I enjoy them, I have to be in the mood though.

Of the ones I've checked out, Silver is probably my favorite, but I think I like them all to at least some extent. I should just start picking up Starflyer 59 albums any time I see them.

The Brothers Martin and Neon Horse are also pretty cool.

Fan here. Always thought these guys should have been bigger. Nice shoegazin style

I haven't heard all their albums, and haven't tuned in in a few years. But probably Gold.

I mostly listened to everyting pre Americana, and Gold was a favorite of mine. Be sure to check out Jason's other stuff with his wife called bon voyage that goes all the way back to the late 90's with velvet blue music and sometime bassist Jeff Cloud. (by the way, i'm not the person from this profile... i'm just using his.) I'm dave!

August 10th. Jason Martin said it will be more acoustic guitar based than past albums which should mean another shift in styles.

I'm pretty excited too. I hope the rest of the album is as good as that new song.

One listen in, the new album is pretty solid. Jason's work generally improves with age for me, so it should stick around for a while. I'd recommend picking it up, or at least downloading it if you're on the fence.
