High School Politics

I've noticed alot of the people that have really strong opinions on here, and won't budge and try to put up numbers to back them. Most of guys are still in school....and I'm guessing your in High School. I use to have strong opinions, then I graduated, now I really don't give a shit cause you soon learn, unless your a revolutionary your not gonna change much, and if your a punk rocker, no ones gonna listen to you cause they already think your irresponsible.

At least I can sleep at night knowing I have some opinions. My ideas aren't spoon-fed to me or inherited. And that's worth it.

I am still in high school, but I don't plan on flushing my ideas down the toilet as soon as I graduate.

That's good and all, and I do still have opinions, they just aren't what they use to be, and I didn't say you couldn't change much, I change alot of peoples lives. You just can't change a whole love, in the grand scheme of things is what I'm saying.

i don't think so, because technically you're not an adult, the majority of teenagers are still supported by their parents, they have different priorities and although many might understand what's going on in politics it's still probably far from an essential role in their life.
hell, i'm 20 and i still don't feel like i'm mature enough to be responsible as part of the future of this country.

But I dont need a legal document or anything to have an opinon, and once you come back to reality you realize unless you have alot of $ no one gives a shit what you think...

Sad but true. Come to the realization NOW that NOTHING you do matters that much unless its for yourself. You SHOULD be as selfish as you want to be in High School because after that you get fucked in the ass by the "real world". I mean High School in general is a joke, but while your there why not have the time of you life. Fuck rights, why speak out? Its not like we can TRULY impact the government.

Im turning 20 real soon. And sure i feel mature, but not in areas that would be essential in deciding the fate of a nation. If others think they are thats cool. But even at this age im still learning tons of stuff every day. Im with Yeat saying kids under 18 shouldnt have more rights. its just right the way it is.

There will always be a few teenages who are utter geniuses and have know how and would be able to partake in things that adults partake in. but thats just a minority. and for that minority it woudlnt be fair to change it all so that millions of still pubescent teens start making life changing decisions by voting their way.

Ideas change over the years. When i was 15 i thought i was punk. Now im just a kid who loves the music.

I mostly agree with all of this. The real world sucks. All you do is pay bills, and then worry about how your gonna pay more bills, might as well live it up while the livings good.
