I really don't even get it.

What's the big deal?

( I like the title though, it made me laugh. )

its a little hard to read, whoever transcribed it made several mistakes, but the gist of it is, Kerry is again caught saying one thing to one group of potential voters, then contradicting himself later on by saying something else, and then when he is called on it, he starts telling Gibson that "he won't stand for it".

not that most politicians don't do this, but he is running for president so...

It's a bunch of medals...woop-de-do. I could really care less if 30 years ago he threw medals over a fence or not.

He has a point...why is he being attacked by someone who supposedly skipped his duty to go to war? Let me think here, what's worse...someone lieing about throwing medals over a fence or someone lieing about skipping a war for his country that he loves so much.

he wasn't being attacked by bush about it, he was being attack by Charlie Gibson...

why is he claiming he is something he is not? his supposed wound that got him his precious purple heart that he made such a big deal about a few weeks ago, was a scratch and those that served with him doubt that, and then he goes and throws away the very medal he was making such a big deal out of! and then denies it!

He came out trying to use his military service as a key point to his campaign and now that it is falling apart, his only defense is george bush's record...that is extremely lame.

also, i don't recall bush lying about skipping a war, his unit was never called up or sent to vietnam.

exactly.

Yes, read the article or at least other articles about it as well. The Bush administration had nothing to do with this. It was the news media who dug it up. Point his he can't seem to get his story straight, and his best idea instead of explaining is to attack Bush's service, which on another note is something else he said he would not do.

Let me quote "i mean, this is a controversy that the republicans are pushing , the republicans have spent $60 million in the last few weeks trying to attack me. and this comes from a president and a republican party that can't even answer whether or not he showed up for duty in the national guard. i'm not going to stand for it."

I don't really like Kerry much anyways. I could care less about what he did with his medals.

Fuck Nader, the guy obviously has an erection for Bush.

Also i am so fucking disapointed in Kerry for this it is rediculous. and the only consolation i have for his character is, "atleast he didn't send kids to die for his interests."
saying that, moral character flaws come with being a human. I just hope Kerry can lessen his. saying that, no matter what he's got my vote, not because of loyatly to him, but out of deadly spite for Bush.

I love the guy...but I agree with you there. I want the Democrats to win because Nader has no chance in hell of winning.

I had the pleasure in talking to Kerry during his Earth Dar Rally in Houston. He does have flaws, but his flaws are as bad as Bush's.

I find it kinda funny when Bush supporters attack Kerry's war record when their man was a total pussy during the Vietnam War. And what Kerry did after the war was heroic. Plus, Bush ads are flat out lies.

About Nader... I like hm alot, but he is hurting his own cause, Bush removal, and he is being too arrogant. He is being just as arrogant as Bush.

I think Kerry needs to get more aggressive, but his poll positions will improve when the VP is announced. The VP candidate would smoke Dickhead Cheney.

yep, I live there....under Governor Bush, this city became more polluted than LA. UH, where Kerry spoke, is a very liberal campass though, and it was kinda cool when Kerry pointed in the few Bush supporters' direction when talking about Bush.

I think Kerry needs to start running ads about Bush's past problem with alcoholism.
