SUPERMAN RETURNS
Favorite superhero movie as well.
Not my favorite superhero movie, but super underrated (minus Kevin Spacey's awful Lex Luthor).

Thank you.
And I actually enjoyed Spacey in it.

Difficult. I'm torn between The Usual Suspects and X2

I may have to watch it again. I think the last time I saw it was during my "I hate Kevin Spacey for no apparent reason" phase.

How could that phase happen?

Definitely. I've seen it at least five times. I need to watch it again.
And, will I end up being the only one voting for SR?

It was right after the first time I saw American Beauty, and was really pissed finding out he beat so many better performances for Best Actor that year.

I liked X2.
Agreed. I think one of the best superhero movies ever made.

Which do you suggest?

Usual Suspects and then Apt Pupil. Once those are done you can delve into the comic book stuff, since that is a completely different animal.

Well this is a first. I hated all of these movies. I hated X-Men 2 least of all though, so I'm going with that.

Apt Pupil. The X-Men movies are terrible, and Superman Returns is one of the worst comic book movies ever, on par with Ghost Rider and Fantastic Four.

Definitely The Usual Suspects. One of the few films I've watched in recent years where I was actually surprised at the end. Great movie.

Really didn't enjoy Superman at all - I'm still amazed by how awesome Usual Suspects is.
X-2. The Usual Suspects is the best one, but I X-2 is great to this day and was my favorite superhero movie for a long time. I still love that movie.

as much as i hate tom cruise, i'm actually stoked for singer's next one.
not big on cruise, not big on the story, and definitely not big on the fact the studio keeps pushing it back.
but singer and mcquarrie back together makes me very very happy.
