Hey guys, I know there's a good amount of people from Philly in here, so I was just curious if anyone had info on the First Unitarian Church. I've never been there before and I just had a couple questions before I go there next month if anyone could help me with...

1. Is there a basement to the church where the shows happen? (I saw a picture of someone actualy playing IN the church, so this kinda confused me)
2. Is there enough parking close by to the place?

Lame questions, I know, but I was just curious. I'll delete this thread once I get some info. And if there's anything else you think I should know, I'd appreciate that also. Thanks. :-)

Dude its literally a tiny basement that holds 500 people tops..... you go down these steps and you are there. They let you re enter as you wish and are all together chill. I go there alot and in my opinion its the best venue in Philly.

As for parking, there are parking lots where you can park for 10 bucks but on the weekdays they close around 1130 so beware of that. I do not recommend that you park in the city streets or pay meters.

enjoy yourself

what an awesome fucking venue.

so chill. no bouncers, no barriers, no security checks, no re-entry restrictions and just an overall great place to see a show.

ive never even paid more then 10$ to see a show there.

go as much as you can, the people who run it are awesome.

enjoy yourself.
