Relapse Records recording artists The Dillinger Escape Plan have begun the recording of their new full-length album, entitled Miss Machine.
The extremely innovative band is recording at both NYC's Mission and Water recording studios with Steve Evetts (DILLINGER, HATEBREED, THE CURE, SEPULTURA, etc). The much anticipated follow up to the band's groundbreaking album Calculating Infinity, Miss Machine will be mixed at NYC's Quad Recording Studios and is slated for a July, 20th, 2004 U.S. release date via Relapse. Miss Machine will be released August 2nd in
Europe. Advance song titles include "Panasonic Youth", "Baby's First
Coffin", "Bipolar Bear", "Apollos Creed" and "Universal Beauty".
Guitarist Ben Weinman comments, "Miss Machine encompasses everything that we are about, everything we have been through as a band and everything that is important to us. We have enjoyed touring these past couple of years, but it is now time for new DILLINGER music to surface".
