Contest time...vote for who you think may get the Democratic VP nod this election. I will list as many as possible; if I run out of room, and your pick is not listed, pick "other" and post who it is. I'm going to try to post anyone who has been listed.

Other picks I couldn't list:

Sen. Evan Bayh (Ind.); Former senator Carol Moseley Braun (Ill.); Sen. Bob Graham (Fla.); Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (Ohio); Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (Conn.); Sen. Blanche Lincoln (Ark.); Former New Hampshire governor Jeanne Shaheen; Activist Al Sharpton; Gov. Mark R. Warner (Va.)

I picked John Edwards (mainly because that's who I want) but if I was allowed a second pick, it would be Bill Richardson.

i picked john edwards because i think having edwards as candidate would pick up the most votes for kerry...and kerry isn't bush, therefore that's good.

i chose Gov. Richardson from NM, with the hopes that he would be tough on illegal immigration.

i won't be voting for kerry though...

Wesley Clark. I wanted him to be presidential nominee...but that didn't happen. This guy is awsome.

I think he'll pick Edwards because he is a southernor and does well with the independents and undecided voters.

I agree...I think he appeals to the moderates.

Disagree with you here, Clark has faults that Edwards doesn't have, but Clark would be a great Sec. of Defense. Clark also supports the SOA, another knock against him.

i'd definatly pick dennis kucinich.. even though he'd make an even better PRESIDENT than vice president... *sigh*oh well..... kerry's cool too;... as long as we get bush out of office, that's all i care about.

wow, so you're voting for bush no matter what happens from now until november?

what if, in november, things in iraq are exactly the way they are now? are you still going to be supportive?

Now that Nader is running on the reform party ticket, I really don't see Kerry winning the election unless he pickes up a large number of votes because of his vice president- and I think Mrs. Clinton would do tenfold what any of the other candidates would- however she has a stick up her ass and would never even consider such a thing, but I think if it were to happen it would win the election for Kerry.

I picked Dean - no candidate stirred up compassion in their followers like Dean did. He was expected to be a strong choice for the nominee... but unfortunately, the media tends to pick a stereotype for all influential figures and go with that for all coverage pertaining to them. So they overplayed his excitement to the 10th degree, causing him to look like he may be insecure, scaring people off a little bit.

But he had great hopes for reforming this country. It's too bad a lot of Americans are shallow and believe everything they hear/see.

Oh man....do I ever agree.. I definitely think Kerry should pick Dean...I mean as much as I love the "political season"...it would be easier if we could just get this over with now and go about our business....and by picking Dean, Kerry is assuring a loses more then any of his flip flopping could ever do...

Haha... Dean... Even Kerry's not that stupid. I'd be worried if he picked Edwards, that might cost Bush a couple southern states. I'm going to guess(hope) Gephardt in a play for union support.

I voted Edwards because that's who I think he is gonna pick. He reminds me (and everyone else apparently) of Bill Clinton and if he can pick up Clinton-style support, I think Kerry will kill in November. Somebody earlier said that he did well with independents which I didn't know but if that's true it would really help Kerry.

Aw, come on. Where is The Rev. AL SHARPTON? I really would have loved to see the democrats pick him. Least it would lock up the african-american vote
