The U.S. President is repeatedly heckled at an Independence Day ceremony to welcome new citizens. The barrage from several people came as George Bush spoke at a naturalisation ceremony at the former home of Thomas Jefferson.

Small-pox infected blankets given to Native Americans, the Dreyfus affair, the Federal Reserve Act, MKULTRA, Bay of Pigs, Operation Northwoods, Watergate, Iran-Contra, Enron, Secret CIA prisons....

It's cool, plenty of people do that all the time, enough so that I'd say most people would've considered that a proper usage.
