Why would anyone just 'sit back and enjoy the music'. Holy hell, I flip out at shows.

I always come home sore. Haha.

If you do crowd surf (which I don't) please do us all a favor and don't do it more than twice a show. It pisses everyone off, believe me, if they see you constantly up there. No one likes getting a sweaty 100-200 pound person shoved on top of them when they are trying to enjoy a show.

the worst part is the fat sweaty assholes who stand on stage so that as soon as you get thrown up on stage, they toss you right off on the side. they're rude. however, i realize that they DO have a job to do...sucks.

see the sweaty, yucky security guards never bother me too much. maybe b/c i'm a tiny 100 lb. girl. i dunno.

but the worst part: slamming into another crowd surfer who's much bigger and fatter than you and losing your shoes in the process!!

i either:

a) sit back with my girlfriend like the emohead i am and enjoy the music from a distance. ex. death cab shows, dashboard shows, pedro the lion shows.

b) i flip the fuck out and go apeshit and crowd surf and jump around like a fucking maniac. ex. thrice shows, shai hulud shows, etc.

my biggest flip out was at the cradle of filth show in spokane. holy shit i was pretty much i fucking lunatic.

It depends on the show.......but I usually get all up in the pit, and sometimes if the hardcore kids have one of their hardcore pits going on and me and my friends are feeling playful, then we will jump in there and start going crazy kicking and punching and shit......

Yeah .. i'm also in the "kid just in the crowd" genre. I occasionally mosh and stuff but usually just stand there or sit back and watch the band.

i just get as close as possible and sing along... tis quite fun. if the band sucks then i start to mosh... but otherwise i go to concerts for the music... not the whatever else
