MC Lars (http://www.mclars.com) will finally be able to announce tour plans next week, including a few weeks in the US this June and at least two weeks of dates in the UK this July.

o when the EP comes out you will eat your words. i guarantee the song "signing emo" will make you wish you never typed that.

Meh, some of his rhymes are funny, and although i enjoy the topics of his music, its all just a shtick, and his songs are bummy. Funny topics aren't enough to carry really lame rap.

you haven't even heard what he's capable of .. you've barely heard enough to make an opinion. as i said, wait until the EP is released.. you're gonna alot of that back. hell, igeneration deals with one of the most important topics of our generation.. and his rhymes are more intellegent than "let's go fuck the bitch with the big ass, if she don't like it it's cause she's crass" or some other MTV bullshit.

i think you arent following your true calling, jason. those rhymes scream "im a rap superstar." but i dont think rappers use the word "crass."
Dude, MC Lars is amazing. Granted all I'm going off of is the demos of a few songs on his website (Igeneration is quite possibly the catchiest song I've heard in a long while.) and Hurricane Fresh on this site, but damn they're both good. He's an intelligent guy, he comes up with some truly creative songs, plus if you've gone to the comics section of his site, you would see how downright hilarious he is. That's all I gotta say. I think Tate was right when he before the Surf and Skate how the one band that exploded because of it was JamisonParker last year, and now it's MC Lars this year.

i'll give it a shot tater! we'll see. I try to give everything a chance. I do respect rappers that don't rap about hoes snorting coke out off urethras, so i'll check it out.. i guess..
p.s. you do rhyme with the best of them.

Bam! I’ll explode, just like I were a bomb
flying over Vietnam high with my Uncle Tom.

If he ever had potential.. it died with those lines.

dont bash rap and what they write about...they write about what they know and how things are for them...just like every other song in this scene talks about a girl breaking your heart...
and yea from what i saw of MC Lars at Skate and Surf...those rhymes were pretty whack...i tried to sit down and watch something diff, but yea we got up and left...
this site blows
