i don't really think many of the people in bands i like CAN sing (ben gibbard and adam turla are the exceptions). geoff from thursday isn't much better than conor. for me it's more about the emotion and lyrics...

There's an emotion in Geoff's voice I really connect with wher as I don't really connect with Conor's emotion or lyrics, so I guess that's the problem.
