I'm really bored with everything I've been listening to lately, and I'm willing to give anything a listen. I want to know what you guys are listening to, to see what I could check out. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hmmm should've clarified that.

What I've been listening to lately is:

Lydia
The Fullblast
He Is Legend
ETID
Minus the Bear
The new Sigur Ros album is great too.

I really like melodic hardcore, but I'm pretty sure I know all the gems in that genre.

I also heard the Fleet Foxes album is great, but I haven't gotten a chance to check it out

I'd be also up for new electronic music. I'm really digging the Crystal Castles album. So something along those lines.

BoC/Autechre are legendary, and Aphex Twin is... well.. Aphex Twin! I didn't like Burial too well. Pitchfork gave it a really high score so I checked it out. It's not for me

When you said melodic hardcore, are you talking like.. contemporary hardcore (ie, Burden of a Day, Oceana, My Hero Is Me) or the classic definition of hardcore ( like what the official hardcore thread is for)?

A lot of earlier "indie" is hit or miss with me so I can see why you'd think that.
