- yea John really didn't have a choice in the matter.. plenty of other labels would have picked them up.. but John still owes Victory the amount of records that taking back sunday still owes... i think its around 3 records or so... and no major or bigger indie will even attempt to buy out the contract since Tony (owner of victory) has put a HUUUGE and impossible price tag on the poor guys...

They didnt just get an artist page now, Victory just put up the obvious link to it on the band page. The day after the announcement that their cd was dropping on victory, just typing in the URL www.victoryrecords.com/straylightrun.html got you to that page.
