how it's almost a year since we split and i still haven't fully gotten over my ex or see that in sight. I have only seen him twice in the last year. once last october with his new girl and one a few months ago and we kissed. wow big deal but when you were with somebody off and on for four years anything can set you on like that again. i have dated people since but i just haven't found anything to keep my interest. i just want to get back in the game and find somebody again and i'm not the type of girl that just randomly falls into relationships. i just wish the dating/bar scene wasn't so absurd and it was easier to meet real guys than creepsters.

Well it's good that you are trying to move on and not just be stuck on this guy forever... but you really just need to get out there and go for it. Yes the dating scene sucks, but it always will, so just go for it and you will find someone.

ahh yeah being with someone for a long time (or in my case, just talking on and off over the years before we got together) can make it really hard to get over them. and meeting guys with potential is really hard. i always end up liking guys i work with which honestly isn't that convenient either.
