I need to somehow sound proof my room because it's becoming a real problem to play my drum set.. if anyone has any tips they would be greatly appreciated. The cheaper the solution the better, haha.

Thanks a lot man. Good article but.. even if it doesn't mean "sound proof", just muffling the sound so you can't hear it outside would be great... that article though giving some good ideas, leaves all options over 175$, with complete soundproofing being at like 7 grand.

Yeah, I know it's way out of your level, but I figured it'd be worth the read and you could maybe pull some ideas out of it and improvise a cheaper fix.

Sweet that seems cheap thanks man. Any easy to obtain egg cartons other than having to buy all those eggs? haha

oh speaking of soundproofing what are the options for someone who lives in a rented house? i dont really have any options that involve like tearing walls.

The best way is to build a room with in the room, with a new raised floor with new walls unattatched, have the walls not tough the real walls either
