Boy Meets World was a huge part of my childhood, its too bad the rest of the seasons probably wont ever see a proper release.
This show should go on nick at night. It could take family matters place!

Even though I generally HATE newer shoes [george lopez, fresh prince, family matters] being on Nick at Night, as it should be for the true older classics, I think thats a great idea.

This show was my childhood. My family owns the first three seasons released on DVD and then I bought the entire series from an online seller who taped every episode and converted them all to DVD. We watch it regularly.

Yeah it started getting real goofy in their senior year (Jennifer Love Fefferman anybody?) and once they got into college it was pretty much a "anything goes" scenario.

Does Family Matters even play anymore? All I see now is George Lopez, Fresh Prince, and Home Improvement. But yeah, I've been saying for years how BMW should go to Nick at Nite. It'd be a perfect fit.

Haha, yep, that's the one.
As for the seasons, only seasons 1-3 are out on DVD because apparently they didn't sell well enough to the point where Disney would release more. So it seems that for now it's at a stand still. I mentioned before that people sell the entire series online via recorded episodes off of the Disney channel. It's not squeaky clean picture quality and you do have to deal with the Disney channel logo popping up every once in a while but it's worth it if you really want the whole series. Like I said, I don't know if or when the entire series will ever be officially released so....

Yeah, from what I understand, it's on the Disney channel quite often (I don't ever watch the Disney channel so I have no idea). It's weird to think that one day when I'm much older this may be a show found on TV Land.
I also fear the day when I'm older and I see a movie trailer for an upcoming film adaptation of an old television show I used to watch...

First off they show it on Disney or Famiy Channel once in awhile.
Update on the show:
The DVD's will be rereleased and possibly all seasons because the old company lost the rights. Some other company is now going to release them
Also starting around the fall season nick at nite will be showing reruns at 10 every weekday.

I hated seeing the classics shoved off to another network in their last season. And I like how the mother in Family Matters thought it was a good idea to leave the show with only 10 eps or so left and they had to re-cast her.

No need to feel ashamed here, haha. My sisters and I are the same way. Some of my favorite lines ever:
"Shnyder and I are wounded birds."
"They want you to take the rolls!"
"Oh no, Eric! Feffy!" *pointing* "He was my roommate.......I didn't really know her."

Haha, I remember seeing that and being so confused. Then when my sisters heard someone from the cast had died, they thought it was her. Sadly we later discovered that it was Urkel's girlfriend (Myra?) who had suddenly died at a young age.
I guess the mother knew how bad it was by then or something... That show had a pretty bad decline. It's weird to watch the first season and then jump to the last few seasons to see what it turned into.

She probably didn't know by that time it would be canceled. It was supposed to be on for another season with Laura and Steve's wedding but ratings were so bad by then it was canceled. I forgot about the robot turning evil. Did you ever see when they brought the robot back and this time he was a cop? Seriously. That and Steve's "transformation chamber." Or his Urkel pad that let you teleport to places or something. Or when he cloned himself and turned the clone into Stefan so that Laura could be with Stefan.

I remember the one episode with that telepad and the whole family went to Paris and they were chased by those people wanting to steal the design for it. Yeah, I just read that on wiki too. I thought this was funny:
Removing the recurring character of Harriette Winslow from Perfect Strangers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfect_Strangers_%28TV_series%29) in the fourth season, Harriette was given her own series in Family Matters, which expanded on her home life. Her husband Carl had originally appeared on Perfect Strangers in the fourth season episode entitled "Crimebusters". However, in giving the Winslow family their own series, some continuity problems arose. On Perfect Strangers, Harriette and Carl (and at least Eddie as well) lived in the same apartment building as Balki Bartokomous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balki_Bartokomous) and Larry Appleton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Appleton); however, this detail was completely ignored on Family Matters to the point that it is revealed in later episodes that the Winslows had lived in their regular house since before Eddie was born.
Edit: Further reading made note of an episode I had forgotten about in which Carl discovers the treadmill he's on has a bomb inside of it and if he gets off, it will explode. Incredible.
