Moving Between Two Points

Cutting careless through neighbours lawns
Striking spokes with old playing cards
Buckled breaks send me reeling off

Now railroads run through my skin
Noosed around ancient factories
A suspension of disbelief
I should let this ring out
I should let this all dawn on me

Built my manor atop the trees
Nettle rash leaves my sunken bones
Stay the course, clear of paper planes
See them unfurl as they float along

All the ash just keeps piling up
Feathered blue split by power lines
Reprising the build and fall
Expectations fall short
When the night comes to call, I’ll leave

I didn't like the first line, I thought you could have wrote it better.
Although I thought the last two lines were simply fantastic.

My favorite part of the whole piece. I loved this. Don't have much else to say.

This had really good imagery, but I thought the second line was awkward.

Overall, I thought this was a nice way to end it. But I did not like the last line at all. Then again, I might have to hear it to like it, but reading it, I did not.

And overall, I thought this was a very nice piece, and I really enjoy your writing. Please don't ever stop, ha

I agree almost word for word with tk's review. Except I didn't have a major problem with the last line.

Favourite verse was number 2. Verse 4 came in a close second.

I really think you are great lyricist mate. You dont write in my style, but its one of those few occasions where the style is totally overlooked for me, because whatever you write just feels so...well, real. It's so good, and I adore the imagery you conjure.

In short, I think I love you.

But in all seriousness, keep it up my friend - you're great at what you do.

There are parts that I truly love about this song, but I agree that it needs some little changes here and there to give it that extra push. I have also re-tooled the music somewhat
