blues/soul artist, definitely for fans of muddy waters and otis rush and the like. he was called the 'bruce springsteen of the blues' in 2000. he has an amazing cover of 'you can't always get what you want' that was on the rolling stones tribute album in 1997, only a few months before he passed away. any fans?

Never heard hime before, but I love Muddy Waters and Otis Rush so I'm sure I'll like him. I'm digging the song in the video.

I've only heard Serious, Soul Fixin' Man, Bad Love, and Blue Streak (pretty much his work between 87 and 94). Enjoyable listens though.
