whats up guys.. sorry about the title.. couldnt think of anything else at the moment.

but im sure some of u politically aware kids out there are familiar with the books hitting the best seller list right now criticizing the Bush administration...

Plan of Attack
Against All Enemies
Worse Than Watergate

I would like to read one of these books to see what its all about, I loved Michael Moores books, and i guess i should read one of these.

Does anybody have comments, suggestions, reviews of any of these books? or do u just want to make fun of me for asking the question?

whatever it may be, some replies would be cool... and by the way midtowns new stuff is the real deal, so all u nay-sayers can just wait and see.

peace.

Plan of Attack is hardly a Bush-bashing book...it's not an opinion piece...it just spells out the facts of the time period leading up to the war...you make your own judgements based on the facts presented in the book...Both the Kerry campaign and the Bush campaign have given it a thumbs up

That said, I've read it and I highly suggest it....very very informative

here are some good anti bush books that are more domestic:

"pigs at the trough" by arrianna huffington is a really good source for some of the ways that bush and the corporate world are fucking over the middle class.

also "perfectly legal" is a good way of understanding how the bush tax system is rigged to benefit the top 1% and again burden the middle class

its always tough making ur first post on a board, so i'll make this short.

its not a "bush bashing book" its just a general book on some of the shit that the u.s. has done over the years.

its called Rogue State by william blum, it just goes over a lot of stuff like our involvment in teaching torture tactics to other nations. how we boss aroudn other countries and screw everyone basicaly. check it out.

the book i'm reading at the moment is "The I Hate Republicans Reader"

it's quite interesting, haha. and, no, it's not just a series of rants about how much authors hate republicans. it's a collection of well-written essays, articles, etc. it's just unfortunate that they had to pick such a title so thatpeople would immediately write it off as liberal ranting.
