i went too. i was gonna post a review but i didnt for some reason. it was a good show. i got the set list and was very happy since ive been to 50+ shows and never gotten one. we met jim after too, i probably saw you. the opening band was awesome. and of course jimmy always put on a good show. it was weird seeing them in such a small club

Gah, this setlist is much better than when I saw them a few months ago. Goodbye Sky Harbor, 23, and Dizzy? I'm jealous.

hey... source...

PORTLAND SET
pretty much the same, i'm pretty sure. played The Authority Song, no Lucky Denver Mint though.

it was incredible to say the least. i definitely felt like dying and i came out feeling like i was on top of the world and the only thing that could bring me down would be something terrible like finding out my friend died.. and of course that happened. fuck life.

edit: oh, and i also have to brag... the stage that Jimmy Eat World played on at the Roseland was the smallest thing ever. i'm thinking it was maybe 20 - 30 feet wide (think rock n roll pizza, only not shitty... if anyone here has been there before). the room wasn't that big either and it got pretty packed. they sounded amazing and it was really intimate and whatnot. like Jim was actually able to hold solid conversations with crowd members and everyone would be able to hear what they were saying. the guy from DATH even said he was shocked that JEW was playing such a small stage.

that'd be a fucking terrible b-side. i'm really glad i didn't find out before they played Hear You Me though. hearing that song and just imagining having something to relate it to is bad enough. i can't even think about jesse lacey right now. let me know how the show tonight goes/text me the songs he playssssssss.

and thanks chris
