NFG - Catalyst

Well, what does everyone think? I know it comes out tomorrow officially, but im sure many of us have heard it. I liked sticks and stones...and i enjoyed the s/t. Strange thing is, im having trouble gettin started on catalyst. There are a few memorable songs, but the rest just doesnt grab me. The music is all more technical which would usually inmprove the sound of most bands...but it didnt work with my taste in NFG...

I think the new cd is amazing... I like sticks and stones and the s/t alot, but i think this is their best record... its alot different, but its better... its good stuff.

it's because it sounds EXACTLY like every other song they've ever written. its nothing new. its been done before. we're getting bored.

i love their s/t, after taht it's all downhill...

It's not that great... the other albums were a ton better than this, but there's a couple of songs I liked.

Probably won't buy it.

It isn't really the style of music I like. Chad is cool though, he used to be a part of Shai Hulud. :).

I can respect that, its better than just coming out and saying that a band blows and not backing it up...anyways, I think that this cd is ok and I will get it because I've liked them for a long time.
