Good, i didn't like the last album as much, and this brings back nastalgia from the old albums, lyric wise. Now i see the power the rest of the band has.

I was destroyed when he left the acoustic behind and ran for the electric and the band but I have to admit its a great song.

I agree. This is a good sign. I love the intro, and the hint at sort of angry growly vocals at the start of the chorus. I'd love to hear his vocals a bit scratchier and less whiny.

the verse sounds really weakerthans-ish...which really isn't a bad thing.

no way boy! I don't mean to be 'that guy', i'm not saying those bands have bad lyricists, in fact most of them are actually not too bad, but for them to make into any sort of top ten list is a shame! you need to listen to more not-so-cliché bands. seriously. but i guess to each his own, and i don't mean to be that guy. plus i'm drunk as i write this. so like what you like. and do what you gotta do.

Agreed! In fact, most of those bands would probably make a "worst lyricists" list, should I actually be motivated to make one.

How awesome would that be if they threw it in the movie rather than in the credits or not play it at all. I remember they played a clip of that crappy Sum 41 song in the first one on the radio in Uncle Ben's car. The lyrics in the beginning are Spider-Man-ish lol.

"Hope dangles on a string
Like slowspinning redemption"

This is a great song. He played it second to last the other night at portland maine, its just as good live if not better. Has anyone else heard the new song "So Long, So Long"... he said it was their newest song, not on an album yet, it started out with Chris on the piano then progressed into a much harder song, overall fantastic song... one of their best ive ever heard.

If this is the way they're going for the new stuff, I'm glad cause A Mark, A Mission, A whatever sucked to put it simply. I think there were like 3-4 enjoyable songs on it. Vindicated sounds great and I hope all his new stuff is like this.

I'd really like to hear that new track with the piano in it.

I have hope for the next release. Thank God. I felt it was lost.
